Marina's Heart is a Bronx nonprofit restoring the shoreline where Pugsley Creek meets the East River. We clean it, we make art and sound beside it, and we keep it open as a place for neighbors to rest.

Sonic Shoreline
Along the Pugsley Creek and Clason Point waterfront, we bring people together for stewardship, sound, art, movement and rest. We treat the water and the land beside it as what they have always been: a commons that belongs to the neighborhood.

Restoring a waterfront starts with the people who live beside it. These programs run all year.
FOR NEIGHBORS IN NEED
Giving Goods
What we are given, we give. Donated goods pass through our hands to the neighbors who need them, without ceremony and without shame.
AGES 4 TO 15
Art and Young People
Brushes, clay, pottery and lessons in etiquette for Bronx children. A child who has made something beautiful is harder to convince that she is small.
FOR ANYONE CARRYING TOO MUCH
Wellness and Restoration
We keep room in the Bronx for rest, movement and nature, and for people to set down what they have been carrying.

Sonic Shoreline Initiative
Neighborhood-led waterfront restoration focused on clearing debris, monitoring local water quality, and hosting public stewardship days to reclaim the shoreline commons.

Trauma-Informed Expressive Arts & Youth Wellness
Holistic wellness tracks for Bronx youth using pottery, sound, and nature-based rest to provide material and emotional repair for those carrying systemic burdens.

Hands-on maintenance of sacred public grounds, archives, and burial sites ensuring our cultural inheritance is preserved through collective physical labor and dignity.
